When to Leave the Jewelry Gifts at Home |

I love to wear the jewelry gifts my husband has given to me over the years. Most every day I wear one piece of the gift jewelry or another. My husband has been very generous in his gift giving. I usually receive one piece of jewelry a year whether it is on my birthday, our wedding anniversary or during the Christmas Holidays.
Most recently my husband gave me a beautiful gold necklace. It hangs just right and sports a single ruby in a heart shaped cut with sparkling baguette diamonds all around it. It is absolutely gorgeous! Now, like I said previously, I like to wear some piece of these jewelry gifts every day. However when we go camping or to the Dunes that becomes a different story.
I just don't want to lose a single piece of these precious jewelry gifts so I know when to leave them home. If a piece should break or fall off in the sand of the Dunes I fear it will be gone forever. Have you ever tried to find something after falls in the sand? Forget it! Same thing goes for camping or boating, I just don't think it's a good idea to wear the gift jewelry during those kind of activities. |
