women's perfume, gold necklace

Several weeks ago my son asked me what I thought about him giving his girlfriend women's perfume for Valentine's Day. He's been dating her for several years now, and I guess you could say that they are serious, or at least as serious as any 17 year old can be about a girl. He said he'd been with her at the mall and she was looking at women's perfume, and he thought that it would be the perfect gift for her. He went on to say that he knew exactly which women's perfume that she liked, so it would be an easy gift. After listening to all that he had to say about the women's perfume and buying it for a gift for his girlfriend. I told him it sounded like he'd made up his mind and I thought it was a great idea.

He said that he hesitated on buying her the women's perfume, since her birthday was the day after Valentine's Day and he needed something special for that day too and couldn't decide whether to buy the women's perfume for Valentine's Day and then buy her something else for her birthday.
