Skin Cream
This morning I was babysitting my next-door neighbors five-year-old daughter, and when I put on my skin cream she asked what I was doing. I explained to her that sometimes my skin gets a little dry, so I like to put some skin cream on to make sure that my skin stays pretty and soft. She smiled and seemed to understand, although at five, I wasn’t really sure she did. She asked if we could take the dog for a walk, and I was more than happy to get out and enjoy the sunshine, so off we went. About an hour later we came inside and she went to the computer room to play a game while I made us some fruit for a snack. When I walked into the computer room about five minutes later, she was totally white. I wondered what on earth she’d gotten himself into, and then it hit me, my skin cream. Sure enough, next to the chair were an empty container of skin cream, and a smile on her face. She said that she was making her skin pretty and soft too, just like mine. I couldn’t help but laugh. |
