gold necklace When I was dreaming up this year’s Halloween, I knew it needed to include a big gold necklace. Past that, I was drawing a blank. Visiting a local thrift store for some inspiration I stumbled upon something that could be worth more then a gold gift, an official neon pink, yellow and black straight out of the 80’s ski jacket that somehow fits my tall frame. The arms are a little short put rolling up the sleeves is a quick fix to this problem. After spending money on that jacket, a big fake gold necklace and sunglasses my Halloween budget was blown so I had to turn to pair of old black shorts and luckily some old school 82’ high top basketball shoes.

Tonight will be the maiden voyage of the 80’s costume to come a friend’s party. From now until then I am trying to come up on a real gold necklace to add some authenticity from possibly my roommate or girlfriend. Understanding the gold necklace will be worn while partying hard, I’m not expecting anyone to lend their nice piece of jewelry to me. I understand. Either way I have a nice big fake gold necklace so I see a couple great nights of Halloween fun starting when the sun goes down. Happy Halloween.
