Skin Cream
This morning after I walked the dog in the bitter cold temperatures, I immediately had to slather myself in skin cream. I am not sure if it was the cold, the dry air, the wind or a combination of all three, but when I came inside, I felt my skin starting to itch. I knew that if I didn’t get some skin cream on my skin and fast, that before the day was over, I’d have skin that was starting to crack and that before I knew it, my husband would be mistaking me for a lizard.
It probably didn’t help that this morning when I got out of the bath, I was in such a hurry to take the dog out that I forgot to put on any of my skin cream. Normally I do that every morning during the winter without fail, but this morning I was distracted and forgot. The weather is only going to get colder in the next several days, with the possibilities of a white Christmas, so I need to make sure I use the skin cream twice a day now instead of once to keep my skin from drying out.
