Gold Necklace
Today my husband received a package that I think holds a gold necklace that he knows I’ve been wanting. When the package arrived, I called him to tell him that something had came with his name on it, and asked him if I should open it. He said that under no uncertain terms should I open the package and that I should not open the packing slip or anything else. Even though I’m not positive that it’s the gold necklace, I do know that I caught him two weeks ago looking at the website that has the gold necklace that I want. When I walked in the room, he quickly closed the page, and acted as though he was just looking at soccer scores. I love surprises, but I’ll admit that it is difficult for people to actually pull off a surprise for me because I’m just so darn inquisitive. My mom says that I’m downright nosy, but I like to call it eternally curious. I’m really tempted to try to open the package just to see if there is a gold necklace inside, but I won’t. I promised and I will try to keep that promise.
